The Lemosho Route is considered one of the most beautiful and varied routes on Kilimanjaro. Starting on the western side, it traverses untouched rainforest, the Shira Plateau, and joins the Machame route later on. Its longer duration allows for excellent acclimatization, increasing the chances of a successful summit. Lemosho is ideal for those who want a more remote, scenic, and quieter trek with excellent wildlife viewing and photography opportunities.
